| Maintaining your MG in top condition is
important to all owners. We are fortunate that MGs both old and new are
exceptionally well supported with parts and expertise. However, it is not always
obvious where to look for such support, and we have therefore provided some information on
the key model ranges and where to look for parts, service and technical support. If you are having difficulty obtaining the information you need, please contact a committee member for further assistance. | PRE 56 MG (Incorporating MGA, ZA/ZB, T Series and all pre war models) Spare parts support for these vehicles can be more difficult than the later models, however with the support network of owners within the club most items can be found. We would recommend the parts suppliers listed in the Classic MG section above and would also recommend that you contact a committee member from the Clubs Pre 56 Register, details of which can be found HERE. OTHER SERVICE PROVIDERS The following organizations support the Club through advertising in our club magazine, and can provide you with assistance as indicated: Colletts Panel & Paint (Specialists in rebuilding MGs, supplier of new & used spare parts) Clark & Clark (Motor engineers & tyre suppliers) Auckland Speedometer Services (Instrument sales & service)

| INSURANCE If you are purchasing an older MG, we would strongly recommend that you consider insuring the vehicle on a classic car insurance policy. These policies offer an agreed value with limited mileage options that provide the degree of assurance you need when dealing with a unique vehicle. The Club does not recommend any one particular policy, however we recommend you check with your insurance company or broker to ensure that you can obtain specific classic car insurance. |
