This section has been designed to introduce you to the world of the MG Car Club. In it you will find descriptions of our various activities, equipment you will need for these events and points allocation for your success or just plain enjoyment. We provide a wide range of activities from the purely social through to the competitive hillclimbs and sprints. We provide for all interests and ages, from the vintage MG owner through to the modern MGF, MGTF, ZS, ZR and ZT saloons. We take a keen interest in older model MGs and the Pre 56 Register provides various specialist activities and services essentially for the maintenance and preservation of these vehicles. On the other hand, you may not currently own an MG but are interested in the Marque. Membership is open to non-MG owners who have shown an interest in MGs and the Club. Similarly, membership does not cease on the sale of your MG - you'll probably get another one anyway! Listed in the CONTACT page are names and email addresses of current Committee members, so if you have any questions, please feel free to make contact. This is our world and welcome to it. Our marque has a wonderful and remarkable history; MGs are a breed apart and through this branch of the International Movement of MG enthusiasts we hope you will be able to learn more about and gain extra enjoyment from your particular type of MG. |
