BoP Minutes of Meeting of Midget 1963 Olde English White, Club of NZ Maungatapu
Minutes of meeting of the MG
Midget 1963, Old English White, Club of NZ. – Maungatapu Branch held in the telephone booth on the corner
of Abingdon and Morris Roads.
All members were present.
( torso and extremities)
Purpose of
meeting: To discuss
tactics for the Classic Marathon 2000 and retain he coveted MG Midget 1963, Old
English White Trophy.
IT WAS
DECIDED:
1. Not to let “bigger but not better”
cars bother us.
2. Only “MG Midgets 1963 Old English
White” be awarded prizes.
3. All prizes to be shared equally
amongst all “1963 MG Midget Old English White” vehicles.
4. All smaller vehicles to be treated as
equals.
5. All older vehicles to be treated with
respect. (whatever that means).
6. Time keeping to be applied to meal
times only.
7. All instructions and diagrams to be
used in “cases of disorientation” only.
8. As car number 23 we should follow car
22 (which did not turn up).
9. As car 23 we should stay in front of
car 24. (This lasted 20 seconds)

10. As car 23 of 40 we should end up 23rd.
11. The navigator shall be obeyed because
“she who must be obeyed” was FORCED into signing a serviette agreeing to come
on the rally. (By bullying MGB and MGF owners).

12. The navigator shall be the
navigator.
13. Photographers must take photos of
the whole car not just the back half.
14. “Happy Hour” to last 2 hours.
15. The accelerator to remain on the
floor during the entire rally.
16. The entire crew must enjoy
themselves at all times and enjoy the scenery. (if we
can see over the long grass).
