MG Car Club (Auckland Centre) won all of the key prizes at The New Zealand Classic Car Weekend competitions held on Sunday 11 February.

Congratulations to everyone involved! There has been an enormous amount of work put in by many people over the last few months to make this happen.

MGCC won:

• 1st in The NZ Classic Car Magazine 34th Intermarque Concours d'Elegance Master Class, with a magnificent MGTB
• 1st in The NZ Classic Car Magazine 34th Intermarque Concours d'Elegance Teams' Event, with a team of two outstanding cars, an MGTF 1500 and an MGBGT *
• 1st in The Archibald & Shorter "Origin of the Marque" Club Display
• 1st in the Personalised Plates Motorkhana, with the MG Midget Team
• Best Club Car on Display, with the Concours Teams' Event winning MGTF 1500

On Saturday 10 February, the Meguiar's Fun Runs, organised by the MGCC, were a huge success, with a record number of cars of a wide variety of marques participating. More than 50 MGs and a total of over 220 cars took part. Congratulations to all those who made the day such a success and provided so much enjoyment for so many.
