The New Zealand National MG rally is an opportunity for all MG owners from
Pre War, Pre 56, The Mighty MGB Brigade, Midgets, MGFs and TF's
and all the saloons in-between to get together and share camaraderie in their common
passion MGs. It happens every 2 years and in 2010 Christchurch is our
destination for this not to be missed eventAs the hub of the Mainland, Christchurch, as an international destination, offers visitors a wealth of activities, a rich historic heritage and from the Alps to the Sea with scenery unrivalled. | Were hosting
the Rally in Christchurch at the end of March to coincide with another significant event
the internationally acclaimed Warbirds over Wanaka (more about that later). Starting Sunday give you a chance to travel to Christchurch over the weekend and finishing Thursday affords you the time to travel on down to Wanaka for Warbirds. If you want to travel deeper into the Southern Alps, Warbirds over Wanaka is the event for you. The organisers of this event will have a huge lineup of significant historic war birds and displays including a Curtiss P-40 Kittyhawke that will be firing all 6 of its machineguns with live ammunition . We have managed to hold the entry fee for the Christchurch Rally to that of 2008 - $295.00 per person (this excludes accommodation) so, book this event into your calendar now and get ready for further information including registration details, accommodation locations, rally program and things to do in the Mainland.
