Click HERE to go to the MG Car Club UK web site with information of the event, and a link to the Google Maps page giving a time line of the clubs world-wide that participated in the event. I do not know how long these page might stay available. Note that the Google Maps page may chew up a lot of your computer's memory. So if you have an older computer with limited memory this link might cause you some problems. There is a Gallery web site HERE that gives access to a large number of club's photographs. There may be some clubs that have hosted their photos elsewhere but I have not found these yet. There are hundreds of photographs here. These range from MG Car Club of Victoria, the MG Club Argentina, to the Chicago MG Clubs and all points in between. In New Zealand, the MG Car Club (Canterbury) kicked off celebrations in Christchurch at 1 minute past midnight on October 16th. At dawn on Saturday morning, the MG Car Club (Auckland) arrived at Waharau Regional Park, on the Seabird Coast, for a breakfast gathering. The MG Car Club (Wellington) congregated on Te Mata Peak, in the Hawkes Bay, for a photo shoot at the start of a full day of touring in that delightful part of the country. The MG Car Club (Auckland) BOP group also held a well attended dawn meeting on Saturday in the Bay. A little later on Saturday morning, MG Car Club (Otago) met up in Dunedin, then on Sunday 17th they went for a tour of the surrounding Otago roads, so had a double celebration. I have had no articles for any of these events submitted to me for publication, and as we could not attend the Auckland events due to other commitments, I can only surmise that everything went off without a hitch. If anyone would like to send me some articles, and maybe further personal photographs, I can post these stories as well. Send them to webmaster@mgclub.org.nz.
