| Register overview The MG Car Club (Auckland Centre)’s MGF/TF Register was formed late in 2009, in response to the ongoing popularity of the MGF and TF with club members. The F and TF have been around for approaching 15 years now, and have become very popular worldwide. In New Zealand we are lucky to have a large number of F/TF’s at affordable prices, and accordingly they are becoming popular with club members and those new to the marque. Age does of course bring its problems, and the F/TF’s are technically very different from the older MG models. Accordingly, the register was set up to help members through discussion on technical problems, solutions, servicing and parts, meeting and socializing with other F/TF owners, encouraging new MGF/TF owners to join MGCC, keeping members aware of new parts, accessories, upgrades, offering buying advice and organizing 1-2 F/TF focused events per year. We issue a newsletter
every 3 months, where these and other matters are discussed and changes, developments, etc
