2003 MG ZR
160  5-door. Le Mans Green. Registered new in New Zealand 2004. Two owners, first being MG Rover (NZ). Purchased at 17,230km in July 2005. 134,000 km. | 1974 MGB
GT Carmine red, chrome bumpers, overdrive, WOF/Reg, 15" minilites, CD player, bluetooth handsfree. This car has been owned for the last 11 years by someone who never intended on selling it. The modifications are all focused on making the car more drivable rather than all out performance. Engine work was done prior to us purchasing the car. From what we can see it was a full rebuild, we replaced the head gasket and seals to upper cylinder earlier this year and inspected the engine then. Compression tested fine. This MG was comprehensively restored in 2003. The gearbox and overdrive was rebuilt/overhauled soon after we purchased the car.The clutch was replaced in 2008. Recently a modified head has been fitted with new valves, springs and hardened seats. This has given the car better fuel efficiency and more low down torque. Uprated brakes have been fitted with slotted rotors and carbotech pads (USA). Suspension has been converted to telescopic shock absorbers using a kit from Moss Motors (USA) which includes a panhard rod on the rear axle. ** Personalized plate MG4EVA will be sold with car at right price.
