Spring Social Run -

| A spring jaunt amongst the daffodils and
tulips. This is a fun event and there'll be clues to solve and perhaps even things to find

to be confirmed. Always good fun, these low key events are a great way to enjoy your car
and improve your driving skill, and bags of fun to boot! No special gear is needed, just
you and your MG. We are trying to get Ardmore Airport as a venue for this event, but negotiations are on-going at this time. More information as it comes to hand. Entry fee $10, start time 11am. |

| Classic Marathon - Saturday 2 to Sunday 3 October 2010 |
| Like past Classic Marathons, a weekend of
relaxed touring on back-country roads through the Waikato and King Conutry regions. Starting from near Hamilton, overnighting in Taupo at the Suncourt Hotel, to enjoy a group buffet meal, with more excellent roads on Sunday, before finishing further north at a yet undecided venue. | Meet at Western Bay Council Car Park at
1.30PM. A short quiz tour of the Tauranga district followed by a social gathering at a
surprise venue! Those that wish, will be able to purchase fish and chips, pizzas, a beer, and have just a plain ole chin wagg afterwards. Very low key. Those that wish, can celebrate the 80th birthday of the MG Car Club by dressing up in 80's clothes or 80 year old clothes or do something that has an "80" ring about it! Test your imagination. | BOP Motu Challenge

| Join BOP MG members on a weekend away touring
interesting Bay of Plenty back country roads including the infamous Motu Road and staying
Saturday night at Awakeri Hot Springs Holiday Park. Click HERE for a map of Saturday's route. Our meeting time is 8.15am for 8.30 departure outside the Baypark Speedway, Truman Lane, Mt Maunganui. Depart Saturday morning from Mt Maunganui, travelling on SH2 through Edgecumbe, Awakeri, Taneatua, Nukuhou North, Waiotahi Beach, Opotiki and Matawai. Lunch at the Motu Falls. In the afternoon tackle the Motu Road and on to Awakeri Hot Springs for BBQ and soak in the hot pools. Sunday morning scenic tour incorporating some of the Eastern Bay of Plenty lakes to arrive back in Tauranga early afternoon. Accommodation available at Awakeri Hot Springs - Motel (6) $95 per couple or Tourist Flats (14) $85 per couple, bring your own linen. for a BBQ at the Tillsons', Waihi Beach. Met up at 2.00p.m. at the Countdown Supermarket, Bethlehem, or meet them at the lay by just before the 50km sign at the southern end of the Katikati Township. I will have a trial type tiki tour organized beginning from there and
eventually finishing up at our place late p.m. |

| To be held at the same place, Vellenoweth Green, St Heliers. Starting at 11:00am. 'Concours' or 'Show n Shine' options, entry fee $5 which contributes to a
donation to the Cure Kids
charity. Give your car a wash and polish, bring her (or him) along, share some time with
friends and help show the MG marque to the public. Lets see if we can get 60 or more cars
on show, in previous years we have nearly been there. |

| Pre '56 MG National Rally - Sunday 23 to Wednesday 27 January 2011 |
| The 18th Rally is to be held in Geraldine, Canterbury, New Zealand. The Pre-56 MG Rally is a biennial
event for: pre-war, T Series, MGA's including concurrent Saloons. Geraldine is 136 kms south of Christchurch on the main tourist route (SH79) to Aoraki/Mt Cook. Geraldine is a rural town with a population of over 2000. It is a popular watering hole on the Southern Lakes tourist trail, a destination for serious white water rafters on the nearby Rangitata River and a comfortable home to lots and lots of sheep, particularly at high country stations such as Mt Peel, Erewhon or Mesopotamia.
