1967 MGBGT V8 race/rally car - owned since 1988 - not highly modified or lightened like Kern or Hayman V8s. $25000 and includes over $5000 of parts. New reconditioned 4.6L Range Rover fuel injected V8 with Link G4 atom computer, approximately 260bhp, standard 236bhp. Twin circuit brakes with hydraulic handbrake, Jaguar XJ6 S1 three pot and discs(front) Jag two pot XJ6 rear with MGB discs. New MGRV8 3.08 diff and LSD and optional ratio arriving 2019 3.44 (cost unknown). Red average paintwork with Waikato Rugby colours, rear spoiler, new Toyota driveshaft, steel close ratio S/C Toyota W55 five speed box (previous car had 600 bhp without breakages), four new billet steel wire wheels, 25 spline MGB axles. I have about ten 15 x 6 inch Miniators alloys which I share with standard BGT (neg essential) and about eight-tenx 14 x 5.5 inch 72 spoke competion wire wheels and about twelve - fifteen normal 60 spoke 4.5inch wheels that are free to person with cheque book. I intend to try and sell over 2019/2020 as friends from Thames Valley are driving my car in gravel hillclimbs and ex T-Type driver Andy Walker from New Lynn is due to drive the V8 in one of the last rounds of the gravel interclub 2019 Rallysprint series -about 7-10kms.
1975 MGBGT - rubber bumper $8000 with lsd, with standard or competition wire wheels or 15 inch Miniator alloys, new exhaust valve inserts done, new clutch and pressure plate, Bilstein shocks on the rear, drives well with overdrive. Current registration and WoF.
1957 Austin A95 - $13,000 (compact body before A110) uprated to 2.9 from 2.6 six cylinder motor, twin SUs, starts well, two fuel pumps, all wheel cylinders with new stainless steel sleeves and new shoes. Good tyres, new battery and new light green Dulon paintwork by Graeme Collett, with dark green sash and sun visor. Drives really well with 3.54 diff ratio. Converted from column to floor change, four speed. Interior unrestored. Very tidy, won 2016 people's choice award at Austin National Rally in New Plymouth,formerly owned by Stuart Dyke from Feilding where Den Williams' Austin 4wd Mini Moke is on display. 1955 Austin A90 $6,500 (cow hip model) 2.6 six cylinder four speed overdrive, no rust for 64 years, unrestored, drives well with 3.9 diff, comes complete with three spare gearboxes. Needs bushes in front anti-roll bar for WoF - registration on hold. Also has twin exhaust pipes, same as Healey 3000, and wider 5.5 Chev L10 wheels and has seat covers. Good runner with zenith DD carb.
