33,500 km
The MG RV8 captures a unique blend of performance with luxury; when this model was purchased new in 1994 it was in a price-bracket between Jaguar and Aston Martin. The alloy V8 engine matched with 5 speed R380 gearbox provides effortless motoring and the ability to cover long distances with ease inside the air-conditioned cabin.
The model was expensive for Rover to build, and did not attract the patronage that was hoped for other than the Japanese, who absolutely loved the car and ordered 1300 units after release at the Tokyo Motor Show in 1993. The RV8 could reach 100kph in 5.9 seconds with an output of 190hp.
This Woodcote Green example was imported into New Zealand from Japan in 2014 with an odometer reading at the time of 21,000kms which currently reads 33,500kms. It has been garaged for the past 11-years,
